It seems the latest owners of freedom2surf i.e. talktalk are not able or willing to give details for those of us who still have a f2s.com email account.

If you have tried contacting talktalk.net support they are likely to tell you they don’t know who freedom2surf are.

Now if you are trying to setup your email using IMAP and you happen to know your password then follow these instructions. Be aware these particular settings are not using secure encryption methods

Using Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird or most other clients

IMAP Details are:

Incoming mail server = inmail.f2s.com on port 143

Outgoing mail server = outmail.f2s.com on port 587

(outgoing server may be different if no longer using f2s or talktalk connection) (if you are using BT for example this may be mail.btinternet.com)

Essential! Username = yourusername-f2s.com (the username is whatever your email address is but instead of using @ change the symbol to –
